Our Coaching Methodology

We take a holistic approach to training, blending structured strength, aerobic conditioning, and lifestyle coaching to create long-term, sustainable results.

1. Strength for Life (Build) Our small group personal training sessions.

Strength is the foundation of health, longevity, and injury prevention. Our Build sessions focus on progressive strength training, helping you develop full-body strength, stability, and resilience. Expect:

2. Fitness & Conditioning (Breathe, Move, Flow)

Cardiovascular fitness and movement quality are key to longevity and overall well-being. Our fitness classes are designed to improve your heart health, endurance, and mobility while keeping sessions engaging and effective. We incorporate:

Breathe – Aerobic capacity and endurance training for better energy, stamina and look after the heart and lungs

Move – Functional movement and interval training for mobility, movement quality , and strength

Flow – Repeated consistent efforts based sessions to enhance conditioning, flow, and build resilience

Sweat - Every Saturday community come together for a larger group workout

3. Accountability & Lifestyle Coaching.

Training is only part of the equation. To get results and sustain them, we guide you on:

Nutrition & Recovery – Practical, no-BS nutrition coaching to complement your training

Where are we and who do we train?

The Fitness Locker HQ is based on pant industrial estate in Merthyr Tydfil. We train Individuals from the Merthyr area, Aberdare, Hirwaun, Tredegar, Rhymney, Ebbw Vale and have clients travel from all over south Wales to experience our expert coaching service and to experience our life changing approach to fitness, health and lifestyle.
